Discover Card penetrates Global Payments

Global Payments Inc., a leading provider of electronic transaction processing services for consumers, merchants, Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), financial institutions, government agencies and multi-national corporations located throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region has expanded acceptance of Discover Cards. When the rollout of its new program is finalized, Global's entire merchant portfolio will have the capability of processing Discover Network card transactions with full customer support services. In a PR NewsWire press release today in CNN Money, the company announced that it anticipates full implementation by the third quarter of 2008.
